For my husband...

Recently we went 6 days without power again. My husband was my hero. He didn't complain. He simply went through the day lugging water and calling people about removing fallen trees. He is so mellow to be around in a crisis.

So my friend Kerry helped me pick out this professor penguin to honor my professor husband to say thank you. This is still a work in progress, but I love the willow color ribbon with the plaid (so Scott) background Basic Grey paper.

Memory Box for Dad

Here is a new card for Dad. He is an avid gardener-even at 80 years young. So this will be his Easter/Spring card.

I used the Green at Heart Basic Grey, Memory Box stamp, and Willow Copic to color the white leave ribbon.

Ladybug and Basic Grey

Here is my card using the ladybug and sentiment from my new Unity stamp set. It was super simple: two Unity stamps, 3 copics (R 29 lipstick red, RV 02 Sugared Almond Pale and 110 black), 3 Spicas (red, clear, and black ) and of course, Basic Grey NOOK & PANTRY -the tan side of Cornbread mounted onto DCWV green. You can't see the Spica on the sweet very good in the photo. The black dotted piece is paper tape.
