I am looking forward to January 2009.
Dec 2008 was not too kind to us. The ice storm left us without power (i.e. water and flushing) for 6 days. There were more than a 1000 people still without power on Christmas eve-so we are not complaining. The good news is that the tree is off the roof and the roof is patched. The food has been cleaned out and taken away. We are safe and warm with running water. All is good. My car can be repaired-don't ask.
So we decided to postpone Christmas. We will have it next week. We will have a decorated tree and cookies and presents.
